The first crossover will be opened conditionally, based upon weather, tide and staffing.  Questions about access please feel free to contact the Harbormaster Department at 781-934-2866

If your over sand permitted vehicle is traveling to the beach make sure that all you safety equipment is on board, your tires are properly aired down, and of course make sure your four wheel drive is working.

Parking Area Notes: The Resident parking area will be opened from 8:00 AM until sunset daily. 

Crossover Notes:  Please do not block the crossovers.  Violators will be ticketed.

 Front Beach Condition

Extremely soft sand at first crossover ramp. Use caution.  Please make sure 4X4 is working.

Back Road Condition

   OFF-COMING TRAFFIC ALWAYS HAS THE “RIGHT OF WAY.”

All speed limits will be enforced. 

Beach Closures due to Endangered Species Protection Areas

Please stay clear of all fenced and strung areas on the beach. 

Special Notes

 Please use care while traveling across the Powder Point Bridge.  Both pedestrians and vehicles heavily saturate the bridge.  The speed limit is 10 MPH and is strictly enforced.
